The Controller app has limited functionality. The FX subsystem is extremely powerful - maybe one of the powerful ones I have seen on hardware synths.Ĭhecked out the Soundtower Editor & Controller, didn't dig much since I want to explore PC4 UI more. PC4 comes with Kore64 samples and objects built-in). (No need to load the dependencies load just the programs. I also tried loading some P3K, PC3 & FOR sounds to check the compatibility. I was eager to load some classic DX7 factory presets and check out the classic '11 E.PIANO 1' first - the SysEx loaded and had default tremolo, chorus, delay, and reverb assigned controllable with switch/slider/knob:6-9. Awesome stock sounds (VAST, VA, KB3, DX7-FM) and you can create MULTIs with up to 16 Zone with per zone controller mapping. The key length is a bit less than the regular keys.Īs the first step, I updated the OS to the latest one available. The getting-used-to-it curve is smooth and I think you are going to like it's responsiveness. Keybeds - It's always highly subjective - it's not about the weight but about the momentum transfer. Keybed: Me and my kids liked it immediately (better than SP4-7's Medeli which we are used to). Aesthetics - better than I expected - sleek looking, though I like the 'metal' ones! You can turn off the blue lights around the wheel which made it look less flashy. But it can be sure made much more friendly probably with some UI level macros. This is my review after one week of getting my PC4-7 and I was primarily on an exploratory mode during the first week.įirst look, almost as I imagined reading the specs! UI/UX is good. I was given complimentary decent guitar case of "GRAIL" brand by music store owner. No guitar case is supplied by the manufacturer of Guild.

After restringing it can be played comfortably and it sounds decent. It took around a month to get it from the music store after daily follow ups. There is no built in tuner or any other EQ controls, so on first glance of this guitar you wouldn’t know it was an electro acoustic.Ī new set of Daddario EJ 16 strings were requested as the ones which were on guitar were heavily rusted and with daily playing of 1 -2 hours, I had few cuts and blisters on my finger tips. This system uses sound hole mounted volume and tone controls, which keep everything tucked away. The guitar came fitted with a Guild AP-1 Active piezo Pickup.

There is a decent low end and a full midrange punch with a pronounced higher end which is common with a laminated mahogany back and sides guitar. It sounds 'Okay' right now, as the spruce top will continue to improve with age. This is a light weight guitar, which can be used as travel guitar. It has no buzz, bad notes or fretting out anywhere. Playability is great and the quality is top-notch.
